Kidnapped!!

"What's going on?" exclaimed Bear, "Help, we're being kidnapped!!"

Where are we going?

It was a beautiful sunny day

but the roads went on forever!

Finally the car stopped

and Bear, Bunny and Moocow were grabbed!

"I can't read these words" said Bunny. "That's ok," said Bear, "you can't read anyway!"

They jumped off the bus by a pretty bridge.

"Is that a castle? Are we going to get locked in the tower?"

"I think it's ok," smiled Bear. "We're at the seaside!"

The land stretched for miles into the sea.

"I want to run up that slope," decided Bear, "but maybe later."

"I didn't know aliens liked the seaside too." giggled Moocow.

"But what can we do? We don't have any money, and it's a very long walk home."

Bear sat and had a think.

  

"Let's see what's at the top." 

"Hmmm," said Moocow. "No flag, no country."

"Is this all that's left of the castle?" asked Bunny. "This was part of a church." said Moocow.

"Quick! shouts Bear, "let's try and escape on this motorbike!"

Bear, Bunny and Moocow rode across the bridge...

...and down the slope that zigzagged.

"All this escaping is tiring." said Bear. "Let's have some chips. Is that a helmet, Bunny?"

"I found the best game," squeaked Bunny. "I put in a shiny money..."

"...and it makes other shiny moneys! Now we can get home!"

 "I don't think that's enough money, Bunny." said Moocow.

Bear looked out to sea, wondering if they'd ever get home. 

"I've got it!"

"This way!"

Bear, Bunny and Moocow ran to the car. 

"Right," said Bear, "who knows how to drive?"

Bear's Halloween Presents

One day Bear was trying to think of what to write in his novel when there was a knock at the door. A postman was there, who handed Bear a rather large package...

"A curious package" said Bear, "I wasn't expecting anything today. I wonder what it could be..."

  

Let's have a look inside

"Who are you?" asked Bear, "and what are you doing in a parcel?"

"I come from a land called Far Away," said the traveller, "and I have brought you presents"

A gift of shiny dinosaurs!

And a notebook. "That's really pretty" said Bear, "I can use it to write about my adventures."

"These are fossilised shark teeth, and an ammonite" said the traveller, "You'll have to take care of them because they're very old."

"More dinosaurs!" gasped an excited Bear, "Do you know what their names are?"

"The one on the left is called Nigel, and the one on the right is Frank." said the traveller. "That's not quite what I meant" giggled Bear

"And this is magic water. We use it to grow dinosaurs"

"You get a baby dinosaur, and you add magic water. Then it grows." "Wow" gasped Bear, "Are you sure that's not science? I like doing science."

A letter!

"So does this mean you're here to stay?" asked Bear. "I guess I am" said the traveller. "We'll have to think of a name for you in that case, but what do you call a bear crossed with a penguin?"
